Add an Image Cropper to your Umso site

Adding an image cropper to your Umso site means your customers can adjust their own images upon upload, cutting down your need to edit or correct images on the backend. It streamlines the process, making everything more efficient and user-friendly.

Installing CropGuide

To get started we first need to create a CropGuide account

Log in to CropGuide and add your domain to the control panel.

The control panel will generate a unique script for your domain similar to the one shown below:

Let’s log in to the Umso admin and select your site.

1. Click Edit Site in the top right corner of the page.

2. Click Homepage

3. Select the page that you want to use CropGuide on. This should be a page with a file upload field.

4. Click Add Section

5. Select Custom Code

6. Click the Custom Code block on the left and select the Code field.

7. Copy the CropGuide script for your domain to the field.

8. Click Publish to save your changes.

That's it! CropGuide will now load and transform images when they're added to a file upload field on your Umso page.

You can adjust the behavior of CropGuide in the control panel for your domain, or you can set custom instructions per field.
