Add an Image Cropper to your Wix site

Adding an image cropper to your Wix site allows your visitors to personalize their image uploads, ensuring each photo fits perfectly with your requirements, enhancing user interaction and content quality on your platform.

Installing CropGuide

To get started we first need to create a CropGuide account

Log in to CropGuide and add your domain to the control panel.

The control panel will generate a unique script for your domain similar to the one shown below:

With your CropGuide account created let’s log in to the Wix admin and select your site.

1. Click Settings in the main navigation.

2. Navigate to the Advanced section and click Custom code

3. Click + Add Custom Code in the top right.

4. Copy the CropGuide script for your domain to the code snippet field.

5. In the Name field choose a recognizable name.

6. In the Add Code to Pages field select the pages you want to use CropGuide.

7. Click Apply

That's it! CropGuide will now load and transform images when they're added to a file upload field on your Wix page.

You can adjust the behavior of CropGuide in the control panel for your domain, or you can set custom instructions per field.
